Citrus County’s live talent competition, hosted by American Idol finalist Bo Bice, runs on our stage every Tuesday this season — ten weeks of theme nights, one Grand Finale at the Valerie Theatre. Dinner and a show, in the literal sense.

Twysted Vyne sits at 103 W. Main Street, on the square in the middle of downtown Inverness — the county seat of Citrus County, Florida, and the heart of its downtown entertainment district. It's a wine bar and bistro rather than a restaurant that happens to pour wine: an in-house sommelier builds the list, every entrée on the menu is printed with its pairing, and flights are put together to travel a region in four glasses.
The cooking is the other half. Casual fine dining is the honest description — seared blackened sesame ahi, hot honey duck, a thick-cut chimichurri pork chop, Tuscan butter salmon, stone-baked flatbreads and a Cuban pressed until it shatters — served in a room where nobody's checking what you're wearing. Lunch runs from 11, dinner from 4, and a late-night menu picks up at 8.
Most nights there's music. Jazz on Thursdays, bands and dancing Friday and Saturday, trivia on Wednesdays, and this fall the room is the home stage for Inverness Icon. Between the music, the menu, private events, and catering across the county, it's the kind of place people from Crystal River, Homosassa, Lecanto, Hernando, Beverly Hills and Floral City make the drive for.
Both — that is the point. Casual fine dining: a sommelier-built wine list, chef-driven entrées with printed wine pairings, and stone-baked flatbreads and sandwiches you can enjoy in jeans. No dress code, no pretense.
Live music most nights of the week: Twysted Jazz on Thursdays, live bands and dancing on Fridays and Saturdays, and Inverness Icon on Tuesdays through November 10, 2026. Wednesdays are trivia with Gator Bowman.
Inverness Icon is Citrus County's live talent competition, hosted by American Idol finalist Bo Bice. Season 3 is held live at Twysted Vyne every Tuesday from September 8 through November 10, 2026, with the Grand Finale at the Valerie Theatre on November 17.
